Each state organisation offers membership to people who have been medically diagnosed with:

  • coeliac disease
  • non-coeliac gluten sensitivity
  • dermatitis herpetiformis
  • other medical conditions requiring a gluten free diet

Through membership with your state Coeliac organisation, support and information is available to help you with your gluten free diet, including identifying gluten free ingredients, where to buy gluten free food, recipes and cooking tips, eating out, overseas travel and research.

Our members receive a quarterly, full colour magazine jam packed with articles on the latest medical advice and research, recipes, travel information and stories, as well as other members sharing their stories and experiences.

Activities such as information seminars, cooking demonstrations, shopping tours, gluten free food expos and children’s events may be held. In various areas, volunteer contact people provide a local support network for members in their region.

Professional membership is also available in each state for

  • Restaurants/cafes/takeaways
  • Health professionals (e.g. GPs, gastroenterologists, dietitians)
  • Retailers
  • Manufacturers
  • Distributors/wholesalers
  • Caterers (e.g. retirement villages, school canteens)
