Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Canberra Gluten Free Food Fair 2013 has been cancelled. It is hoped that we will be able to run this event in 2014.

Information Sessions: Members only event
Information sessions are held bi-monthly on a Saturday afternoon in our office in Waitara. They are a great opportunity for members to learn about their condition and how to manage their gluten free diet. They are recommended for all new members and not so new members who wish to update their knowledge.
Cost: $5 per person (includes information session, gluten free afternoon tea and a sample bag)

Shopping Tours: Members only event
Shopping Tours are held bi-monthly on a weekday morning. Conducted by Penny, our Dietitian, the tour of a local supermarket provides members with an opportunity to practice their label reading, find new products and get some tips for healthy eating along the way.
Cost: $10 per person (payable on booking)

Cooking Demonstrations: Members only event
Cooking gluten free can be a challenge, even for the most experienced in the kitchen. If you would like some tips for cooking gluten free or are after some new recipes, consider coming along to a cooking demonstration. They are held throughout the year and cover various cuisines and themes.
Cost: $20 per person (payable on booking)
Low-GI Cooking - Saturday 20th April - 11am
Gluten Free Pastry - Saturday 18th May - 11am
More exciting cooking demonstrations will be organised for you in the new year.
The Society can provide staff inservices on managing coeliac disease and the gluten free diet for Dietitians, Aged Care Facilities, Child Care Centres, Supported Living Services etc. on request.
