Dietitians
It is important that all people diagnosed with coeliac disease are referred to see an Accredited Practising Dietitian for advice about following a nutritionally adequate gluten free diet.
Dietitians who are members are issued with a Patient Resource Kit to equip them with the most current information for patient education.
Management Guidelines prepared by our Clinical Advisory are available as a reference for Dietitians.
Medical Advisory Committee
Coeliac Australia is committed to providing its members with the most current and relevant information. We are fortunate to have a panel of Medical and Health Professionals available to advise on best practice for diagnosis and management of coeliac disease and to ensure we remain up to date with current coeliac disease and gluten research. Our Medical Advisory consists of leading adult and paediatric Gastroenterologists, Immunologists, General Practitioners and Accredited Practising Dietitians.
