Ingredient List Booklet

In order to follow a gluten free diet, it is essential to become ingredient aware and an expert label reader. As products and their ingredients change constantly, The Coeliac Society is not able to recommend brands of products.

The Society's Ingredient List booklet, available with membership, details over 700 ingredients and additives used in Australian foods and indicates whether they are safe for inclusion in a gluten free diet.

 



 

There are two types of foods suitable for those requiring a gluten free diet -

1)  Foods labelled gluten free

2)  Foods made for the general market which are gluten free by ingredient

By becoming ingredient aware members are able to take control of their diet and increase their choice of suitable products.
